This amazing team loves people through coffee – and they have a lot of fun in the process – sharing in community with each other and our entire congregation! Choose from one of two shifts: Prep and Service (8:15 – 10:30 am) OR Service and Wrap (10:30am – completion during second service).  Volunteers are asked to remain through their selected shift, and have the option to serve 1 to 4 times a month. You really have flexibility…but be warned, once you’ve served once you’ll want to come back again and again!

Looking for a more behind-the-scenes opportunity? Our communion teams serve 1 – 3 times a month and provide mission-critical work for our Sunday morning services. Communion is a true act of worship in our church, and the teams that set up and/or clean-up are a vital component of our volunteer ministries. Commitment is pretty simple – arriving at 8am for set up, or staying 15 minutes past a morning service to reset.

If you’re a medical professional or first responder, this may be just the spot for you!  Team members serve 1 to 4 times a month, and are on-call during the regular service they attend should a need arise. This team is not often called upon, but greatly appreciated!

Have a heart to serve, but a schedule that makes it difficult?  We’ve got a spot for you! Throughout the year we have opportunities to serve for special events and mid-week moments.  Whether it’s prepping candles for a Christmas Eve service or joining for a special project, this is a great way to serve God and others as your schedule permits; and for families, it’s an awesome way to serve together – especially those with homeschooled kids.  We’ll simply keep you on the list and email you with the details when an opportunity arises.

We’re a big church!  And that means a lot of people to assist in finding those parking spots quickly and getting settled before services begin.  Here’s a role to simply wave hello as guests enter our campus, and best direct them when they arrive…and when they depart.  Opportunities to serve are open for both the 9am and 11am service.

The COTC/Franklin Security team provides a layer of protective services for the Franklin campus – keeping people safe during worship services, weekly classes and special events.  This rockstar team must be able to pass the background check and attend continuing education classes – but they have a lot of fun completing them! Certifications are mandatory for some security processes and equipment maintained by security team members.  Team leads will advise all new team members during training on any required certification. No previous security or law enforcement experience required – just good observation skills and a willingness to learn!

Serving as a worship host is where it’s at!  This high-impact team provides the opportunity to greet our congregation with a warm smile, assist those looking for a seat in the sanctuary, serve communion/offering and count the attendees in your section.  Hosting is a great way to serve God, serve others, and still attend service! Opportunities are open for both the 9am and 11am service.

Our greeter team has the privilege of being that first face when stakeholders and guests arrive!  The simple act of saying hello and welcoming our congregants into the building goes a long way in sharing our hearts…in sharing the heart of Jesus!  Whether you’re stationed at a main door, inside the church auditorium or with Kid City, you’re the welcoming face that simply says good morning and how can I best guide you! Opportunities are open for both the 9am and 11am service.
